Seldom do I follow hot issues. I don't like to watch myriads of phenomenal posts cover blogosphere. It's almost like cheap but inferior mass production. There are good writings or articles in various aspects of course but I have to pay costs for classfiing them by myself. I know this is partly why systems such as meta-blogs or portals are built up and they are helpful but I don't want to jump into the stream nor to be one of them if I'm not good or critical enough.
Even more they, portals, often seem to get trapped in populism and neutralism. I doubt if it's high time for them to take the place of arbiters but they need take pains to be even if it appears illusionary because we demand another authorities or competitors replacing newspapers and broadcasters to fall our backs on. This is not about our new president who is now threatening democracy. He is only accelerating the crisis which existed already.
Frankly, I can not even fathom so-called 2.0 things but I'm sure the change is crucial to us right now.
